Jalan Crossland’s music is playing on ESPN.com’s Real Snow Backcountry, the X Games all-video backcountry snowboarding contest running in conjunction with X Games Los Angeles. 

Eight of the world’s best backcountry snowboarders were selected to challenge for a shot at $50,000 and Winter X Games Gold. Online fan voting from July 16 thru 31 will determine the winning video, which will be shown on X Games Los Angeles on ESPN, Aug. 1-4. 

Contestant Mark Carter’s video features the driving western twang of Jalan Crossland’s “Hard To Stop The Killin’” in the music bed of his backcountry snowboarding video. Mark’s video was eliminated from the tournament bracket style challenge, but can still be seen by clicking this link.
